Sylvester Tetteh, the Member of Parliament for Bortianor-Ngleshie Amanfro, on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has now declared his support for the candidacy of Vice President.
The former Trade and Industry Minister’s ardent supporter revealed that Alan Kyerematen’s withdrawal from the contest was the catalyst for his decision to switch sides.
Sylvester said that he reached this conclusion after consulting his constituents during a Metro TV interview monitored by 1Family Radio.
“It is obvious that the NPP rank and file support the candidacy of Vice President Bawumia, and, in that light, I have decided, in consultation with my constituents, to join Team Bawumia,’’ Sylvester noted.
“It is clear from the campaigns we have conducted—and I have interacted extensively with my constituents, both within and without—that I would support Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for the elections on November 4,’’ he said.
