Livingstone Etse Satekla, a Ghanaian popular dancehall artist, better known as Stonebwoy, is said to have been robbed at gunpoint in America.
For his Fifth Dimension album world tour, Stonebwoy specifically planned a tour across the United States. He had reportedly finished a concert in Washington, DC, on August 14, and his next performance was scheduled to take place in Atlanta.
On Tuesday, August 15, he arrived safely in Atlanta, Georgia, and was in the Icebox shop with his own security detail and media team. He had supposedly gone there to shop for his kids when the event took place.
A report by GHHyper on Instagram, which was sighted by 1Family Radio, read, “Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy and his team were robbed by armed men in Atlanta, Georgia, US.’’
Videos published by Gossips24TV and also sighted by 1Family Radio captured the artist’s arrival at the Icebox store, his admission and interactions with store employees, as well as his receipt of the gift box bearing the names of his two children.
The CEO of Bhimnation has not yet made any remarks regarding the incident or the possessions taken during the burglary.
