Following press claims of a robbery on him and his crew, Ghanaian dancehall star Stonebwoy issued an assurance to his followers of his safety.
Stonebwoy scheduled a tour exclusively for the United States as part of his Fifth Dimension record globe tour. According to reports, he had just performed a concert on August 14 in Washington, DC, and his next performance was slated for Atlanta.
On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at midnight, news surfaced that the musician had supposedly been robbed by some unidentified gunmen in Atlanta, Georgia, in the United States, after leaving the Icebox Diamonds &Watches store, where he had purchased some presents for his family.
After the news spread, all attempts to get in touch with his team and other reliable sources were unsuccessful.
However, at one in the morning, Stonebwoy posted on his Twitter (now X) account to reassure supporters of his and his team’s safety and urge them to come up for his Atlanta gig as scheduled.
“Very safe and sound! ATL lets meet tomorrow at the @masquerade_atl 7 p.m.,’’ the post sighted by 1Family Radio read.
