Simon Sunday Igoche, a Nigerian musician better known as Inkboy, has called out Sarkodie over alleged unpaid royalties generated from their collaboration on a song.
The song, which was titled “One Million Cedi”, was also featured on Sarkodie’s ‘Jamz’ album.
However, in a series of tweets sighted by 1Family Radio, Inkboy alleged that he has not received his royalties from the ongoing, which was released in 2022.
In his post, Inkboy noted that it is rather unfortunate that he has to resort to social media to make demands for his royalties to be paid by Sarkodie.
“King Sarkodia, what you are doing is not good at all. I place high demand on your name, but it seems you prefer me calling you out, and people are saying I’m ungrateful.’’
“Please give me my royalties for one million Cedi; it’s long overdue. Haba, you be a legend, Nana,’’ he lamented.
“I made this song and gave it the title One Million Cedi, and all I get now is hate from Sarkodie fans because I’m not allowed to call him out?’’
“As a bigger person, is one year not enough time to do what is right? I won’t let this slide. Give me my royalties,’’ Inkboy added.
