Young West Ham fans have developed a deep affection for Ghanaian right winger Mohammed Kudus after he scored his team’s third goal in a 3-1 victory over Asrenal during the EFL Cup.
Kudus’ second goal of the game for West Ham was his spark of magnificence. He performed a stupendous touch that could only be characterized as exquisite with breathtaking grace. With confidence, Kudus struck the far-right corner of the net with a deadly stroke.
In addition to scoring that game-winning goal, Kudus tracked back to help his team defend and spearheaded the attack with his extraordinary ball-handling abilities.
In an interview with West Ham Fan TV following the match, which 1Family Radio carried, a few youthful supporters of the team could not contain their excitement as they waxed poetic over Kudus’ amazing effort in netting the goal.
It was a great finish, good control, and a great finish,’’ one of the excited young fans noted.
Kudus was referred to as West Ham’s mustard throughout the game by another youthful fan who witnessed the match at the London Stadium.
“He was all over the pitch for the Hammers in the game, tracking back defensively and pushing the team forward with the ball. When was the last time we beat Arsenal?’’ he questioned.
Following their victory over Arsenal, West Ham advanced to the EFL Cup quarterfinals.
