The toxicology test conducted to ascertain the cause of the late Nigerian music icon, IIerioluwa Aloba, popularly known as Mohbad, has come to an end.
This news was confirmed by an official from the Lagos State government in an interview with Punch Online, on condition of anonymity. During the interview, which was monitored by 1Family Radio, the official disclosed that the toxicology results were sent to the DNA and forensic center last week.
“The toxicology test is ready and given to the police. We projected 10 weeks from the outset, but it came in before then,’’ the official disclosed.
“It was received by the DNA and Forensic Center last week and has been sent to the police,’’ he added.
Another source in the Lagos State Police Command has also confirmed the receipt of the result. He did this confirmation also on the condition of anonymity.
“The toxicology report is with us. It arrived on Monday, but it is medical jargon for us. We don’t understand what it is. So it has been sent to the pathologist who carried out the autopsy to analyze and interpret it,’’ he hinted.
