Prophet Amoako Atta, the founder and head of the Lord’s Parliament Chapel, has denied claims that he foresaw the marriage of well-known Ghanaian musician Kwabena Akwaboah Jr. to his baby mama.
He said that 10 years ago, he was told about the musician—a member of his congregation—imputing one of the church ushers. The pastor said that he called Akwabaoh and the woman to mediate the situation peacefully after learning about it.
Prophet Amoako went on to say that he had never predicted, under any circumstances, that Akwaboah would marry his daughter. Speaking to the crowd at Akwaboah’s wedding, the prophet called the charges “fabricated lies intended to tarnish his reputation” and advised the people to ignore them.
There were rumors that I said Akwaboah wouldn’t be able to wed the woman. Even a letter claiming that the woman Akwaboah is marrying is the secretary of a pastor’s wife was written by someone. You put the child’s (Akwaboah’s baby mama’s) wellbeing in danger by doing this because she keeps a good relationship with him.
“I want to let the rumormongers and bloggers know that these reports are untrue. The woman who gave birth to Akwaboah is an usher at my church, and she told me about the pregnancy ten years ago,” he said.
