Ghanaian midfielder Mohammed Kudus has congratulated himself for the stunning goal he scored for West Ham on Wednesday at the London Stadium during their Carabao Cup victory over Arsenal.
Five minutes into the second half, the 23-year-old doubled the Hammers’ lead with a goal following a deep pass over the top by Nayef Aguerd.
After the match, the Black Stars midfielder rewatched the goal with the Hammers’ media crew and said, “Wow! What a finish!” in celebration of his goal, which fans and commentators praised greatly.
The second goal scored by West Ham against Arsenal came from a well-executed ball from teammate Nayef Aguerd, for which Mohammed Kudus also expressed gratitude.
“Wow!!! What a finish. I think it was a beautiful ball from Nayuf, so I just had to take the touch inside because there was no space outside and I saw the goalkeeper was on the other side.’’
“And when I come inside, it’s always the far corner, and boom, it was a goal,’’ Kudus noted.
