In general, the New Patriotic Party (NPP) superdelegates conference, which was held on Saturday, August 26, was a successful event, according to Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, the defeated candidate for the party’s flagbearer position.
He claimed that despite his hard work throughout the nation to speak with delegates and pitch his fresh ideas to them, he was not chosen as one of the top five candidates for the primary election slated for November 4.
Speaking on TV3’s Midday News, monitored by 1Family Radio, the politician stated that he must respect the will of the masses.
“Once the majority has taken the decision, we have to respect the decision,’’ he said.
“I am an internal democratic; although I am disappointed, I am emotionally strong,’’ Kwabena Agyepong added.
