Solomon Nkansah, the former national communications officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has indicated that John Mahama has not learnt any lesson from his defeat in the 2016 and 2020 general elections.
He believes that the former president is a major problem for the NDC party. According to him John Mahama is repeating the same things he did which led to his defeat in the previous general elections.
Speaking in an interview on Kasapa FM monitored by 1Family Radio, Nkansah noted that the former president is taking the NDC party for a ride and he has no plans to build up the party.
According to him, the former president has not changed because he knows that the members of the party will definitely vote for him and because of this he has taken the party for granted. He furthered that during his campaign launch he spoke to the members of the party only one percent and he spoke to Ghanaians ninety-nine percent because he didn’t have any plans for the party.
He furthered that the party will have a lot of problems to deal with should Mahama become the flagbearer of the party. His reason for saying this is that the grassroots of the party do not trust him.
The former communications officer restated that Mahama couldn’t speak about the NDC because he has no objectives to build the party.
