A Plus, a Ghanaian musician and political activist, has shared details of a discussion he had with former President John Agyekum Kufuor
He claims that the statesman supported him in his criticism of the political parties during an honorary visit with the former president.
A Plus made this disclosure in response to an attack by some men who are allegedly affiliated with the NPP on the panelists of United Showbiz.
A Plus revealed that President Kufuor pushed him to stay genuine with himself and carry on with his distinct brand of advocacy during an interview on Adom FM that was monitored by 1Family radio.
He recounted how Kufuor had said that he frequently stays up late watching “United Showbiz,” an entertainment program on UTV on which he frequently participates as a pundit.
“Kwame, that is who you are; continue to do what you are doing,’’ Kufuor is reported to have said.
“Those that watch UTV, friends of Despite, I can tell you that most of Despite’s friends, such as the East Legon Executive Club, are predominantly aligned with the NPP,’’ A Plus said.
