The National Identification Authority (NIA) has issued new charging rates for the application of the Ghana card, replacement, and data update.
According to a public notice on the authority’s Facebook page, which was sighted by 1Family Radio, effective May 1, 2024, these adjustments will begin.
The notice hinted that the adjustments to the fees are in compliance with the fees and charges of the Miscellaneous Provisions Regulations, 2023 (L.I. 2481), which were passed in February 2024 by the Parliament of Ghana.
