John Dramani Mahama, the ex-president and flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), is an unfit president, as voiced by the gospel singer Nicholas Omane Acheampong.
He stated that the ex-president lacked the capability to address the concerns of the citizens. He also suggested that the NDC accommodate a vengeful sentiment due to his defeat in the 2016 elections.
Furthermore, despite facing criticism for his earlier remarks about Mahama, the gospel musician remains unruffled.
During his interview with Oyerepa TV, which was monitored by 1Family Radio, Nicholas Omane Acheampong remained undaunted in his position and declined to offer an apology despite significant criticism.
“This is Mahama’s final shot at the presidency, and if he’s elected, I’m scared he will reciprocate for the 2016 loss. He won’t be as perplexed because he won’t run again. My assurance remains that he will show indifference towards the Ghanaian populace. Why should I apologize to the NDC supporters? Did I offend anyone? He asserted it in Twi.
While John Mahama is preparing to compete against Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President and NPP flagbearer, and other opposition candidates in his pursuit of the presidency,.
The much-awaited general election is set for December 7, 2024.
