The Black Stars have started getting ready for their next friendly matches against the US and Mexico.
Nineteen players, including important players like Richard Ofori, Jordan Ayew, and Thomas Partey, arrived at the team’s camp in Charlotte in advance of the games.
News reaching us at 1Family Mohammed Kudus, a midfielder for West Ham, is anticipated to arrive on Wednesday.
They trained for the first time at the Charlotte FC training facility in preparation for the October 14 encounter against Mexico. The squad will resume practice in the days preceding the Mexico match. On October 17, they will play in the United States at Nashville, Tennessee’s GEODIS Park.
Regretfully, Tariq Lamptey, Daniel Amartey, Alexander Djiku, and Osman Bukari are unable to play in the two friendlies due to injuries. Stephan Ambrosius, Jerome Opoku, and Kingsley Schindler have taken their places.
These friendly matches serve as a prelude to next month’s 2026 World Cup qualifying matches against Madagascar and Comoros. In order to have a great performance in the next qualifiers, the Black Stars are keen to take full advantage of these preparations.
