Ghanaian actor and pastor Timothy Bentum has called on celebrities to take prophecies seriously because they are not granted exemption from life’s challenges.
He underscored the importance of prophecies from reliable sources for guidance and direction in a field where repute and wealth are frequently accompanied by a variety of obstacles and lustful desires.
The actor explained that while the entertainment industry is noted for its glamour and glitter, it is also a space where people struggle with rigorous scrutiny, personal difficulties, and moral dilemmas that need divine assistance to navigate through successfully in an interview on Graphic Showbiz, which was heard on 1Family Radio.
“The counsel that comes with prophecy should be taken seriously,’’ Pastor Timothy Bentum admonished.
“Celebrities are not immune to the trials of life, and sometimes the prophetic word can serve as a guiding light through the darkness of fame,’’ he added.
His remarks contribute to the larger conversation regarding spirituality in Ghana’s entertainment sector. Numerous artists, such as Wendy Shay and Mr. Drew, have discussed specific spiritual assaults they have endured and have advised their peers to exercise caution in their spiritual lives.
