Kennedy Agyapong, a candidate for the NPP’s presidential position, has yet again denied claims that he had a hand in the death of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale.
In response to claims that the murder of Suale will hound the NPP in the 2024 elections if he is chosen as the party’s presidential candidate, Ken said Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia could be acquainted with the person behind the journalist’s death.
The politician said that as the leader of the Police Council, Vice President Dr. Bawumia ought to know who murdered Suale in an interview on Kessben TV, which was monitored by 1Family Radio.
“Those who wrote the 10 sins of Ken Agyapong in support of Bawumia—he, Bawumia, is the vice president; he is the head of the police council; they know the murderers of Ahmed Suale; why have they not spoken about it?” He asked
The presidential candidate continued by saying that if the government actually does not know who murdered the journalist, it is a sign that its system of national security has broken down.
“If you are a government and your national security structure does not know who killed Ahmed Suale, it is a sign that you are incompetent in your duties. Is this one of Kennedy Agyapong’s ten sins?’’ he quizzed again.
