Ghana’s most beloved screen goddess and media personality, Nana Ama McBrown, has advised her critics to desist from condemning her because they are oblivious to her suffering.
The actress took to social media to publicly show the scars on her arm that she incurred from an accident and surgery.
In a TikTok live video seen by 1Family Radio, Nana Ama McBrown urged her critics to refrain from criticizing her since they are ignorant of the struggles she has overcome to reach her current point in life. She also displayed the scar that extends from her armpit to her elbow.
“If you don’t know me, don’t talk about me. If you share my pain, you’ll enjoy my glory. If you don’t know someone’s pain, don’t talk about it. Don’t do that. But you see, it’s life; what can i do about it? I cannot do anything about it,’’ she noted.
McBrown revealed her scars to the camera while singing Black Sherif’s Konogo Zongo to buttress what she said earlier on. According to the song she sang, you don’t really know someone if you don’t understand their struggles.
She clarified, however, that she is not implying that she is flawless but rather that she intentionally works to improve every day, even when it is challenging.
“Simply move and leave everything to God, for you will stumble as a human. Although I am not perfect right now, the Bible says that even when we fail to meet God’s standards, he still shows us mercy and extends his love to us. Every day, change a little bit for the good,’’ McBrown added.
