Ghanaian media personality Afia Pokua, professionally known as Vim Lady, has alleged that the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) will inevitably lose power in the upcoming general elections.
She claimed that the government is constantly making the same errors that led Ghanaians to throw them out of office in 2008.
Speaking on her Egyaso Gyaso radio show on Okay FM, which was monitored by 1Family Radio, Vim Lady highlighted that the NPP government has grown adamant about the complaints of Ghanaians, which is why they would definitely go into opposition.
“The NPP is moving toward opposition, as evidenced by the actions they are taking; the indicators are clear.’’
“We in the media are saying it, but if you say it, you get tagged as a member of the NDC, but the signals are always present whenever a party is going to face opposition,” she added.
We, the media, are saying it, but if you say it, you are tagged as an NDC member. Any time a party goes into opposition, the signs are always available,’’ she said.
“Look at President Kufuor’s administration; there were warning indications as early as 2006 and 2007. The disarray that Alan and Nana Addo caused during the party’s presidential conference, where they were exchanging cash, clothing, and even dollars at the last minute, made things worse,’’ she remarked.
