Kwame Obeng Asare, alias A Plus, a politician and showbiz pundit, has accused President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of forgetting how he struggled to become president months before the end of his tenure.
A Plus admitted that he was among those who packaged then-candidate Akuffo-Addo as the best candidate in 2016 and called Akufo-Addo’s election a hoax on the Ghanaian people during an outburst on UTV that was sighted by 1 Family Radio over the weekend (April 27).
He complained on several issues in his speech, emphasizing a recent viral video in which the president was captured commanding some chiefs at a public event to rise on their feet to give him the respect he deserves.
In the 12-second video, the president was shown making a way to greet traditional leaders at what looked like a funeral.
The president and one of his guards were seen beckoning to some of the chiefs to rise to their feet before he greets them.
“If you depend on the president, he will let you down. He is retiring from his presidency; he has defrauded all of us. He begged for our votes, and today he is commanding chiefs to stand on their feet to greet him.
“He is done, and now in a higher position without regard for anyone, he is done and has gone tone deaf with a few months to end his term. He doesn’t care whether we are having much supply of lights or not, “A Plus said of the show hosted by MzGee.
