The late Dr. Grace Boadu’s brother, Mr. Emmanuel Boadu, expressed the family’s position about the flurry of unfounded stories that have been floating around.
This was disclosed in an interview with a sisterhood station, AngelFM, which was sighted by 1Family Radio on Wednesday, February 1, 2024.
Since then, the 46-year-old herbal doctor’s tragic death has allegedly led to several public arguments, sparked by both netizens and some “self-acclaimed” family members.
Since then, rumors that she collapsed in her restroom, never got married, never gave birth, and other things have taken over social media and sparked a ton of conversations.
In the most recent development, though, Emmanuel, the late Dr. Grace Boadu’s brother, has advised the public to disregard this information.
“You are not the deceased’s family member just because you both came from the same hometown. These statements are all untrue. The family has not yet made a formal public speech. He said, “Don’t listen to anyone who presents themselves as Dr. Grace’s brother, sister, uncle, or anything.
Soon, Dr. Emmanuel Boadu—who also serves as Grace’s deputy CEO—will be in Ghana to make the required funeral preparations.
He said that the family of the deceased will be holding a news conference on Friday, February 2, 2024, to address the various falsehoods surrounding the doctor’s passing.
The deceased mother and daughter are in Belgium and would soon return to Ghana to hold the press conference after the ongoing investigation of the cause of the deceased and so on. Till then, the family will also arrange the day for the funeral preparations.
