Chef Failatu Abdul Razak, who attempted the longest cooking marathon, says she is really mad at her troupe for breaking off her attempt after 227 hours of cooking.
She began her attempt at midnight on January 1 and went ahead to cook non-stop for nine days and eleven hours. She had initially stipulated her readiness to embark on more days, but her husband, Captain Reginald Adjei, despite assurances from doctors, goaded her to end the activity.
Speaking on a live studio discussion on TV3 that was sighted on 1Family Radio, Chef Faila conveyed her disappointment with the team’s decision, stating that she never complained of stress and would have been able to continue with her target of 240 hours.
“I’m so bored with my team. They were too overstretched to have been listening to things. Was I complaining?” She facetiously stated:.
Chef Faila expressed her gratitude for her husband; she described him as a supportive husband who kept encouraging her with his words and his love.
He was an optimistic individual. Use kind phrases when conversing with others. He is that person. And those remarks weren’t directed just at me; rather, they served as a continual reminder that, Faila, I had questioned your motivation for taking on this task. You said you wanted to take this action in honor of those who have supported you. Why let them down now? Fulfill their needs. She said, “They’re here.”
