For the first time since his baptism, former Black Star star Kevin-Prince Boateng has spoken.
He revealed to the others on the podcast that he had discovered peace in Jesus when speaking on Vibe with FIVE podcasts which was followed by 1Family radio.
He proudly displayed his inner shirt, which read “Jesus is King,” while he was amusingly discussing how he felt as a Christian. It bears the written verse “John 14:6.”
Jesus is King is now one thing that brings me peace, and I want to share it with you guys since it has truly altered my life. changed my life completely.
His former Hertha Berlin colleague Dodi Lukebakio helped revive his faith in Christ, according to the backstory he shared about how he first encountered Christ five years ago.
I was raised among Muslims, specifically Turkish Arabs, due to the significant inflow of Turkish Arabs to Berlin. So, even though I grew up around them, I never really followed a religious or spiritual path. I was certain that I believed in high power, yet… I was basically confronted by the Muslim because my older brother is a Muslim. I first encountered Jesus five years ago. There is a spot inside of me where someone planted a seed. You know, I became intrigued and left it there again before deciding I didn’t care.
Boateng continues: “And then Dodi Lukebakio, the player who had just signed for Servila, was playing for Hertha. I became interested in him when he started talking to me about Jesus, the Bible, and everything else. You see, I was talking to him and I was asking questions, so I went to the Women’s Cup in Sydney, and this is when it hit me. The individual prayed for me, and for the first time, I experienced bodily sensations that are virtually impossible to describe. I then had an encounter. You know that you must set aside your pride.
