Controversial socialite and comedian Afia Schwarzenegger has lambasted Kennedy Agyapong, a New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer aspirant, over his apologies to former President John Dramanai Mahama.
Kennedy Agyapong, in an interview on Starr FM, offered an unreserved apology to John Mahama for treating him unfairly.
“The way he handled me and how I have spoken harshly to John Mahama, I think, have not been fair to him. He is such a wonderful man.’’
“I apologize; I am a human being. I think if I recount my relationship with him, all that I want to say is that I am sorry,’’ Ken said.
Afia Schwarzenegger, however, says that Ken’s apology to Mahama is proof that his impolite public outbursts directed at specific people do not reflect well on his public image.
The angry media personality asked Kennedy Agyapong whether he had extended an apology to other public officials whose reputations he damaged through his despicable public outbursts in a post that 1Family Radio spotted on her Instagram.
“This is what caused the feud between myself and Hon. Kennedy Agyapong in 2016. I asked him not to insult Mr. President John Mahama’s mother and siblings because they have nothing to do with governance.’’
“He tried to bully me with everything and forced my then management to breach our contract and keep me home instead of on air,’’ she wrote.
“You claim we are friends; the question is, did you apologize to women for the words that came out of your mouth? Have you apologized to the clergy? The farmers you called fools?’’ Afia asked.
“Have you apologized to the judges you disrespected? Have you apologized to Charlotte Osei? Have you apologized to me? Your dream of being president will be haunted by no one but yourself,’’ she added.
