An official press conference about Ghana’s second bailout tranche is being held by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Finance Ministry of Ghana.
A review of Ghana’s $600 million first tranche of the package is being conducted by the IMF Mission Team, which has been in the nation for almost two weeks.
According to information that has reached 1Family Radio, the IMF team has also been in discussions with important government figures on the conditions and next steps for Ghana to obtain the second installment of the financial package to reclaim the stability of the economy.
The IMF Mission Chief for Ghana, Stéphane Roudet, and the Minister of Finance, Ken Ofori-Atta, were present for the press conference.
