In an unexpected twist of events, Prophet Nigel Gaisie has retracted a prophecy he made about Black Sherif.
In a Facebook post by the founder of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, he saw the mother of sensation Black Sherif weeping and entreated his family to pray for the young talent.
“Let the family of Sherif Black pray for him and talk to him deeply. I didn’t like what I saw about him a few minutes ago. Life is priceless. I saw the mother crying uncontrollably,’’ the prophet wrote.
This post was widely circulated by the media as a prophecy about Black Sherif; however, the prophet has set the record straight concerning the prophecy.
Speaking in a call-in conversation on UTV’s Unted Showbiz, monitored by 1Family Radio, the prophet unequivocally said that his prophecy wasn’t directed at Black Sherif but to Sherrif Black.
“That is your word,’’ he said in response to the question if his prophecy was about the’second sermon’ crooner.
He furthered, “With prophecies, we see and prophecy in bits; I didn’t hear Black Sherif, I heard Sherif Black.’’
“I saw Sherif Black in the spirit. But whatever the way it is, a sensible person can make deductions from it.’’
“Prophecies come figuratively, so if there is anything closer to anything about or close to me, I can take steps. It is better safe than sorry, and people in the arts, after anything is said about them, have often attacked the clergy,’’ he remarked.
