When the National Democratic Congress (NDC) wins the general elections in 2024, John Dramani Mahama, the party’s front-runner, has stated his ambition to finish all unfinished projects implemented by the current party.

He claimed that the NDC was a patriotic, well-intentioned political party that valued steady progress and was resolved not to squander taxpayers money.

This disclosure was made by the former president John Dramani Mahama during the Greater Accra Regional Zongo Caucus Stakeholders Forum on September 16, 2023, which was monitored by 1Family Radio.

“I’m making a promise that when we come, we will continue all abandoned projects,’’ he said.

“Even projects that this current NPP government does not finish, we will continue and finish because they are funded by taxpayers money, so when you abandon them, you are wasting the money of Ghanaians,’’ he noted.

John Mahama promised to continue with his developmental projects he began in the Zongo communities before leaving office.

“When we were sharing the E-Blocks, several of them were allocated to the Zongo and Muslim communities but many of those schools have been abandoned,’’ he added.
