Mohammed Kudus of Ghana, an attacking midfielder, has been selected for the second week of the competition’s Dutch Eredivise Team of the Week.
The 23-year-old scored in the team’s first game over the weekend as Ajax drew 2-2 with Excelsior.
In the crucial match, the midfielder gave it his all to help his team recover from going behind by one goal and settle for a draw.
In the 72nd minute, he took control of the ball and swung in a cross that former Werder Breman player Davy Klaassen converted to make the score 2-2.
