Kurt Okraku, the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), expressed optimism following his vetting on August 21, 2023.
At the Alisa Hotel in Accra, the vetting procedure for potential presidential candidates was conducted. George Afriyie, the association’s former vice president, took the lead after Okraku.
Okraku placed emphasis on some essential criteria the candidates were examined upon in an exclusive interview with 3Sports following his vetting, which was monitored by 1Family Radio.
He claims that these requirements include the aspirants’ integrity and conformity with tax laws, with the integrity criterion analyzing tax payments as well as preventing fake declarations.
“Obviously, you would have to go through the integrity session. Whether you’ve paid your taxes So, if you don’t pay your tax, you are in trouble, and whether you’ve made any false declaration whatsoever in relation to this opening,’’ he explained.
“I think that it was smooth. I am very confident that I have given what I shared. I will go through it smoothly, and then we will be ready for the election,’’ he added.
