Even if I am not appreciated as I deserve, it will not deter me from helping destinies because that’s what I was created for. Kaywa is a Ghanaian music producer and the CEO of Highly Spiritual Music.
Every time he sees one of his signees, even one who has left his company, according to Kaywa, he feels pleased with himself.
He did, however, mention that it has been his life’s disappointments that have kept him on his toes all these years during an interview on 3FM Drive that was monitored by 1Family Radio.
“It’s the disappointment that keeps telling me there’s more room for improvement. The more I feel disappointed about something, the more I come to the realization that we can go deeper and make it work,’’ he said.
He continued that he feels excited and fulfilled in life anytime he sees his signees making it in life because his purpose in this life is to help their destinies.
“I’m not one who just lets things go. We are created to be destiny helpers, so we help destinies become who they are, and if, for one reason or another, we are not appreciated, we’re cool,’’ he asserted.
“I don’t feel disappointed. If I look at these guys, I am very proud of myself. My excitement is that I have been able to produce hit artists, not hit songs. When you mention their names, we’ve been behind them, and we’re very proud of that.’’
When asked if he would like to re-sign any of his former signees, he responded that his label only accepts fresh talent and that it is not their practice to accept back signees who leave the label.
“Unfortunately, that is not our style. We believe that the platform is always for freshmen. When you have enjoyed it for a while and you leave, when we bring you back, it looks like we don’t know what we are about. We’d rather push a lot of energy into brand new acts, but we do maintain a healthy relationship with them.”
