Multiple award-winning gospel singer Sonnie Badu has expressed interest in featuring two of Ghana’s biggest dancehall artists on one of his songs.
According to him, featuring any of these two artists, especially Stonebwoy, will have a significant social influence.
Speaking in an interview on Neat FM, monitored by 1Family Radio, the gospel artist spoke about his longstanding friendship with Stonebwoy and his admiration for his craft.
“I really want to work with Stonebwoy on a song. Although that’s a lovely thing to do, I’ll deal with it myself.’’
‘’Even Shatta Wale, I’ll include him, and you’ll be stunned by how much impact we’ll make in society,’’ Sonnie Badu remarked.
Stonebwoy and I have been friends for close to eight or nine years at this point. With him, I am really close. I was one of the few people Stonebwoy came to visit when he first began his musical career, and I listened to his songs,” he admitted.
“We’ve been together for a very long time, and I want to put him on my song,” he said. I simply need to get in touch with his record company and everything else.’’
Sonnie Badu went on to say that collaborating with Stonebwoy and fusing various musical genres will have a significant social impact.
