Kwabena Agyapong, a flagbearer hopeful of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has highlighted the importance of recalibrating our Ghanaian values and morals.
He said that we needed a new Ghana and that changing our values would help bring about the necessary transformation.
On Tuesday, July 4, 2023, after his vetting, Agyapong addressed the media and said that, should he win the general elections of 2024, he would be bringing in a new dawn and direction.
‘’My message of ushering in a new dawn, a new direction, and a new dimension for this country has resonated in favor with many Ghanaians,’’ he said in his submission, monitored by 1Family Radio.
“After 30 years, we need to critically evaluate who we are and what nationalism, patriotism, and public duty really mean.’’
“We need a new Ghana. We need to recalibrate our moral standards and return to what is right. Politics is about the benefit of the population as a whole, not just the welfare of the politicians. That’s why I’m running,’’ he noted.
“I think that as a political party, we have the numbers. Therefore, our prospects of succeeding in 2024 are increased if we work together as a team, remain united, and conduct a decent, fair election,’’ he added.
