The agent of Christian Atsu, Nana Sechere has hinted that some possessions of Atsu has been found but Atsu is yet to be found after nine days the earthquake took place.
Christian Atsu a Ghanaian international footballer was reported to have been trapped in a rubble after a 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Turkey on February 6, 2023.
There has been some couple of reports on his rescue but Hatayspor, Christian’s club has refuted any reports that Atsu has been rescued from the rubble.
Atsu’s agent in a post on his Twitter page indicated that some belongings of Atsu have been found and there is an ongoing search for Atsu.
He stated that he is at the quake site with the family of Atsu in Hatay. He continued that they have been able to locate the exact room location of Atsu and they have found a pair of shoes belonging to him.
Nana continued that the thermography has detected five lives but it has to be confirmed through sight, smell and sound. They are hoping that Atsu would be part of these five people.
He lamented that the rescue teams are being delayed because they don’t have enough resources for their search and more lives are being lost. Nana also pleaded with Atsu’s team to help in the search of Atsu.
