Ghanaian gospel musician, Brother Sammy has taken a swipe at veteran gospel duo, Tagoe Sisters over their reaction to his decision to use a butt shaking woman to promote his new album.
In recent times, Brother Sammy has been lambasted by some section of Ghanaians especially those in the Christendom when a woman shaking her buttocks was captured in a video advertising the musician’s album.
These critics, including Tagoe Sisters and Arnold Asamoah-Baidoo condemned the act saying that it is immoral and foolishness.
Responding to his critics, Brother Sammy has stated that we are in a new era but some of his critics are archaic thus their reactions.
He made this statement when he appeared as a guest on UTV’s United Showbiz with MzGee which was monitored by 1Family Radio.
According to him, anyone that finds fault with the way he chose to promote his album belongs to the olden days which is not the same as today.
“If Tagoe Sisters have a problem with my actions, you should know that they are from a different dispensation. There is a difference between the olden days and today, things have changed,’’ he said.
He explained that the way he advertised his album was a means of drawing people into the church.
“She didn’t do the advert for men of God to come but to lure people like herself into the church,’’ he clarified.
