Ghanaian politician and the President of the Atta Mills Institute, Samuel Koku Anyidoho has ridiculed Former President John Dramani Mahama for his cement price slip.
During a campaign tour in Kpandai located in the Northern Region, Mahama mistakenly stated that a bag of cement costs GH¢800 instead of GH¢100.
“Things have become so expensive in the country. Today, a bag of cement is GH¢800. If you are a farmer, one bag of cement is GH¢800,’’ Mahama said in a video which has gone viral.
Reacting to this, Koku has quizzed the former president if farmers use cement to farm in this country.
According to him, John Mahama is worn out and he shouldn’t be allowed to embarrass himself like this.
“I can’t stop laughing, please listen! Do farmers use cement to grow crops?’’ he asked in a Twitter post sighted by 1Family Radio.
He continued; “Is it not fertilizer that is used? Or there is a new dead goat technique of using cement to farm.’’
“Haaba! This man is obviously worn out; he should stop embarrassing himself,’’ He added.
