Ivan Quashigah, the executive producer and director of Things We Do For Love and Yolo, has expressed his sorrow at the passing of actor Vincent McCauley.
In a poignant Instagram post sighted by 1Family Radio, Quashigah bemoaned McCauley’s death and the vacuum it left in her current and next endeavors.
“Vincent!” he wrote. With the updated scripts, what should I do? This slashes quite deeply! You had to skip several parts when we were filming Yolo 7, so I had to figure out a way out. Being the gentleman that you were, you made it a point to personally apologize in person at the office. Unfortunately, you offered us your trademark handshake, which nearly caused our arms to come apart from our bodies, so I was unaware of how very ill you were.
Quashigah expressed profound grief and said, “Your word says in all things we should give gratitude, but this hurts so much.
Following his death on Thursday night, Mr. McCauley left behind a legacy of incredible performances that will always have a special place in the hearts of his admirers.
Vincent McCauley made a significant financial contribution to Ghana’s film industry by showcasing his abilities in films including The Idiot and I, YOLO, Games People Play, Fortune Island, Office Palava, Living with Trisha, and House of Secrets.
