Diana Asamoah, a well-known gospel singer, has cautioned men of God across the nation to adhere to the Bible’s teachings in the face of mounting worries about certain pastors’ actions.
She made reference to Cecilia Marfo, a fellow gospel performer, who broke down in tears on television as a result of her church’s impending collapse.
The gospel singer underlined that men of God ought to comply with the Bible and not experiment with their religious activities in order to benefit themselves and attract new followers.
Diana Asamoah pleaded with Ghanaian pastors to learn from Cecilia Marfo’s predicament and turn from their wrongdoings, or else they would be crying on television like Cecilia Marfo did.
“Those of you using shear butter, Aidan fruit (locally known as Prekese), and other things to establish your churches should learn a lesson from Cecilia Marfo’s situation and advise yourselves,’’ she noted in an interview on Angel FM, which was monitored by 1Family Radio.
“Otherwise, you will also start crying profusely like Cecilia Marfo. If you don’t practice what the Bible says and you use your ways, the world will come against you.’’
“If you do not abide by God’s word in your ministry activities, it will affect you. Some pastors know Christ is the head of the church, but they have decided not to mention God’s name because of what they want.’’
“When he speaks the truth, people won’t come to church, so even when someone is having an extramarital affair, the person would be given an oil,’’ she said.
