On October 15, 2023, at the Accra International Conference Centre [AICC], the renowned Ghanaian gospel singing group Tagoe Sisters successfully held the Accra edition of their Tagoe Sisters at 40.
The event commemorated the legendary Ghanaian gospel duo’s 40 years in the music scene.
Fans of all ages were crammed into the AICC, ready to witness the Tagoe Sisters perform their biggest hits.
The audience erupted in deafening applause when the concert, which was monitored by 1Family Radio, began with a touching rendition of their hit song.
They then performed songs such as “Etu be twa,” “Yedi Nkunim,” and “Orekyekye,” taking the audience on an artistic journey spanning their four-decade career.
A few of their recently released songs were also played, to enthusiastic applause from the audience. Ceccy Twum and Ophelia Nyantakyi were among the many special guests that joined the Tagoe Sisters on stage.
