Kudus Mohammed has received praise from former Ghanaian international Asamoah Gyan, who claims that the West Ham United player will develop into a “Word Class” player if he keeps up his current form.
On Sunday, October 8, Kudus was the hero at the London Stadium when he came off the bench to score a tying goal for West Ham United against Newcastle in a 2-2 draw which was monitored by 1Family radio.
As West Ham trailed 2-1 thanks to a brace from Alexander Isak and Tomas Soucek’s opening goal, Mohammmed Kudus was introduced in the 76th minute.
Kudus only played for a brief period of time, but he still put up an excellent effort to score his first West Ham goal with a good low drive shot outside the penalty area.
Many football fans have called for his inclusion in the starting eleven for their upcoming match after his performance stirred discussion on social media.
The 23-year-old has improved in his game play and now knows how to open spaces and release passes on time, according to Ghanaian legend Asamoah Gyan, who intervened during Kudus’ performance. Gyan added that if he maintains this level of consistency, he will become a world-class player.
I have seen some big changes in Kudus play. He is beginning to understand how to move into spaces to receive the ball at the right time. If he continues like this consistently, he will be a world-class player.’’
