The mechanical engineer claimed that he accidentally entered the music scene.
After performing at Coachella in 2019, only three years into his music career, Mr. Eazi claimed that he had considered giving up music because he didn’t feel fulfilled.
In order to combat the creative burnout he was going through, the ‘Skin Tight’ singer stated he diversified into IT.
He disclosed this in a recent interview with media personality, Andela Lee, which was sighted by 1Family radio.
I run a tech company named Zagadat Capital,” he declared. And I felt bored with music at the time.
following a 2019 Coachella performance. On the first day of Coachella, I performed; after leaving the stage, I felt nothing. No happiness. No sadness.
“For someone who never wanted to be an artist, I’m playing Coachella in my third year of my career, and I felt nothing.”
”As a result, I saw it as a sign that I needed to either stop playing music or find something else to do. Because needing to pause or feeling that way was not a good thing. I might have been burned out.
And when COVID struck, that’s when I first stopped and thought about what I should do next. I had founded Empawa, so I was learning about the music industry.
However, I was sick of listening to music altogether. Without music, how can a music industry be operated? I simply delegated that to my team.
I’ve always wanted to create my own business, and now that I have access to people and money thanks to music, I thought, “Okay, I’m going to start my fund like Jay-Z.”
Mr. Eazi also revealed that, starting in the following year, he will invest in the film sector.
