Former New Patriotic Party lawmaker for the Obusai parliamentary seat East, Edward Michael Ennin, has admitted that the party has reneged on its core objectives and the principles upon which it was founded.
He claims that party members are paying between $300,000 and $400,000 for government homes valued at a million dollars.
In an interview with Kumasi-based Akoma FM, which was monitored by 1Family Radio, Edward claimed that the NPP administration is hell-bent on accumulating fraudulent wealth.
Edward asserted that he had the receipts for some of the aforementioned sales and was prepared to make them public if necessary.
“If they continue daring some of us like this, the party will end up in a ditch,’’ he cautioned the leadership of the party.
“Recently, government houses that cost US$1 million haven’t been purchased for 300,000 and 400,000 USD? I know people who bought some, and I have receipts to that effect and can pinpoint the ministry involved,’’ he revealed.
