Sister Afia, a musician in Ghana, has once again stressed how difficult it is for her to find a life partner.
The singer claims that despite her repeated laments about how difficult it has become to meet a serious, honest partner in recent years, she has yet to fulfill her goals of getting married and having four children.
I think I am not a very lucky person when it comes to dating, Sister Afia revealed in an interview with Zionfelix, which was monitored on Family Radio. Although it’s true that we shouldn’t minimize ourselves, no one understands how I feel. I’m not sure why, but I feel really unlucky. I used to tell myself when I was young, around 17 years old, that I would get married at age 22 and have all four of my children before I turned 26. I told myself that as a result. I don’t even have a child anymore.”
‘’Everybody comes and puts a stain in your life regardless. At first, I was a very cool and quiet but the thing is, you’ll meet people who are loud and that influence your behavior. Then you take the pain and move on to the next one. My mum always tells me that future partner won’t come knocking at your door. You’ll have to move out. But I’d like to be in my own space, whoever wants to find me should find me.’’
It may be recalled that Sister Afia publicly announced on social media somewhere in June of this year that she had given up on finding love with Ghanaian men.
Done with men with Ghana flag,” her Facebook post stated.
Sister Afia did not share any other information regarding her message, but some people speculated that she might have had a terrible experience.
