Daniel Okyem Aboagye, a former member of parliament (MP) for the Banatama Constituency in the Ashanti Region, sadly passed away.
After a brief illness, the former politician passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu, the majority leader and the MP for Suame, disclosed his demise in an interview on Kumasi’s Hello FM, monitored by 1Family Radio.
Prior to losing his position to Francis Asenso-Boakye in the NPP primary contests ahead of the 2020 general elections, he was a member of the Finance Committee while serving as an MP.
He was the owner of numerous companies in the Ashanti Region, including the widely recognized 2M Transport Services.
