Sensational Ghanaian singer and songwriter King Promise has admitted that the dance in his popular song ‘Terminator’ contributed to its success.
The majority of Ghanaians, according to him, are enthusiastic about the choreography in the song’s music video, which has contributed to the single’s success both within Ghana and outside.
He hailed the dancers in his music video for their work and said it was fortunate to have them participating because dancers aren’t often featured in his songs.
Speaking in an interview on Joy Prime, which 1Family Radio monitored, the highlife artist claimed that because music, art, and dance are interrelated, blending the three elements creates songs that are more bustling and enticing to the general population.
“Yeah, the dance has helped my song ‘Terminator’ ten thousand percent. Even when I hear the song, I want to dance. So it is like it goes hand-in-hand,’’ he noted.
“Music, arts, and dance—the funny thing is that they are intertwined. When these forces come together, it’s powerful, so I respect all dancers. It was only right and perfect that we had a dance for this because I don’t really do that much featuring in my music videos.’’
He added, ‘’So there was something about the song. I felt like it would go with one dance and look at what was happening. So yes, it’s a blessing.’’
