CEO of Rufftown Music, Ricky Nana Agyemang, better known as Bullet, has disclosed that Wendy Shay might be flown out of the country for further medical attention.
On Saturday, September 9, 2023, Wendy Shay, a Rufftown Music signee, was involved in a serious car collision with a tipper truck.
In an interview with Andy Dosty that was monitored by 1Family Radio, Bullet stated that despite the singer’s stable condition, the label still intends to fly her to Germany owing to the severity of the accident.
“It was very severe. It was extremely severe. She has spent five days in the hospital. Right now, what we are planning to do is fly her to Germany for further medical checks,’’ he said.
“We are going to see the police this morning. We have been there, and they said they had to test the car and everything. We hope they get done soon.’’
When questioned about the severity of the collision, Bullet stated that Wendy was struck by a tipper truck that was carrying stones and traveling at high speed.
According to him, Wendy Shay’s car was struck from behind by the truck, forcing her to strike her head against the dashboard.
He mentioned that Wendy, who was at the time traveling home from a video shoot for her new song with her personal assistant, was involved in the accident.
“Imagine your car being hit by a tipper truck with gravel and stones. It was extremely severe. When you see how heavy the tipper truck was and how it hit her from behind, it was serious.’’
“She was getting off the highway, trying to branch. There’s no way a tipper truck can hit a Jeep Wrangler from behind, and the person will survive it,’’ he added.
