The general overseer of Ebenezer Miracle Worship Center, Reverend Ebenezer Adarkwa Yiadom, also known as Opambour, has responded to Kennedy Agyapong, the NPP flagbearer’s recent tirade and threats.
His counsel follows threats Kennedy made to engage the president and his vice president in a “showdown” during the NPP superdelegates conference.
Kennedy Agyapong was counseled by Reverend Opambour to exercise sobriety and keep a cool head, underscoring that anger would not further his political ambitions.
Reverend Opambour made this statement in an interview on Prophet 1 TV, monitored by 1 Family Radio.
“So, what will happen to me then if we are showing the President’s Showdown? He probed.
Nobody can do anything; pay attention to what I’m saying: Ghana is God’s, and in the name of Jesus, no power can rise; God will compel it to submit. Consequently, nothing will occur.’’
He also warned against the potential repercussions of expressing wrath and making threats, saying that such actions could dissuade people from endorsing Kennedy’s candidacy.
“When you become this angry, who will vote for you to become president? With such anger… So everything has to do with patience because, with patience, you shall achieve your results,’’ he said.
