Ghanaian actor and stalwart supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has bemoaned some of the challenges he has encountered as a result of endorsing the NDC and its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.
He asserts that since publicly expressing his support and love for the NDC, he has endured a great deal of hardship, with his life even being threatened on some occasions.
Speaking in an interview on Property TV, monitored by 1Family Radio, the Kumawood actor said that the most recent challenge he has had is being denied food as a result of his affection for the NDC.
“I went somewhere to buy food, but the food vendor refused to sell the food to me simply because I am a fervent supporter of the NDC and John Mahama,” he claimed.
“I recall going to a particular restaurant to purchase food, but they insisted on not selling it to me because they claim that I support the NDC.
He also remembered being rejected by a TV station owner simply because he was a known NDC member.
I went to a particular TV station to pay for a TV ad, but the owner told me he couldn’t work with me since I am a well-known NDC supporter,’’ he stated.
