Ghana’s top-notch rapper, Strongman Burner, has revealed that leaving Sarkcess Music marked a turning point in his musical career.
He claimed that after he left Sarkodie’s Sarkcess Music, he began to experience a great deal of advantage and independence.
Speaking in an interview with kbNkansah, monitored by 1Family Radio, the “Transformer” rapper said that, unlike when he was at Sarkcess, he is now able to manage his own affairs and seek new possibilities for making money.
“I believe that my music career really took off when I parted ways with Sarkcess. I had some money before Sarkcess that I could have used to buy a car, but I chose not to do so and instead chose to spend it on other things.
“Because Sarkcess was a highly regarded label and I needed to live up to its reputation, I utilized some of the money for luxury living, promotion, and feeding,’’ he said.
However, Strongman did not deny that his relationship with Sarkcess had been a blessing for him. But he added that since humans can’t be static, progress is necessary.
“Life is no longer stressful since I left. Sarkodie did help, and I’m not saying he didn’t; I’ve never stated that. If I entered Sarkcess in Form 1, my level must have changed to 2, and you don’t anticipate me staying there. It’s important to reach Form 3,” he said.
In addition, he thanked his followers for their constant support throughout his musical career.
