Versatile Ghanaian gospel artiste, Piesie Esther has expressed optimism of emerging as the Artiste of the Year at this year’s VGMA.
She stated that because of her works this year, she deserves to win all her seven nominations including the top and the biggest award of the night.
Speaking in an interview with Agyemang Prempeh on Power FM monitored by 1Family Radio, Piesie Esther noted that she will be very dismayed if she doesn’t win the Artiste of the Year this year.
“I don’t know how many awards I will be winning at this year’s VGMA but I believe that by virtue of my hardwork, I will get the awards I deserve,’’ she said.
Apart from Piesie Esther, other artistes including Black Sherif, Stonebwoy, King Promise, Camidoh, Kidi, Sarkodie and Joe Mettle will be battling for the big title as the Artiste of the Year at the 24th edition of the VGMA.
However, according to the ‘Waye Me Yie’ hitmaker, she deserves to win this year’s Artiste of the Year award because she has worked hard for it.
“I want to win all the seven nominations but I will be disappointed if I don’t win Artiste of the Year,’’ Piesie added.
