Founder and director of the LGBTQI+ Rights Ghana, Alex Kofi Donkor has cautioned Sam George against the use of foul language against people who express different sexuality.
Sam George Nartey, the Member of Parliament for the Ningo-Prampram Constituency is part of the many Ghanaians who have spoken against the LGBTQI+ community in the country.
According to the lawmaker, legalizing homosexuality in the country is like legalizing prostitution and armed robbery. He also of the view that tolerating such people would be the beginning of the country’s downfall.
Speaking in an interview on Ultimate FM monitored by 1Family Radio, Alex rubbished the statement by the lawmaker against the LGBTQI+ community.
Alex advised Sam George who is popularly known as “Dzata” which translates into English as a lion to go to the forest if he wants to act on his name.
He quizzed Sam Nartey if he would treat his own child this way should the child decide to join the LGBTQI+ community.
“I hear Sam George has been speaking against us. If one of his children decides to be part of the LGBTQI+ community would he treat him or her the way he is treating us?’’ he quizzed.
He stated “if he thinks he is a lion, he cannot be a lion on us. Ghanaians have called him “dzata dzata” and he now wants to act on that name.’’
Alex however noted that Sam George can’t be a lion on them because lions reign in the jungle and not in Ghana therefore he should go there to act on his name.
“He can’t be a lion on us, he should go to the forest and do that and not us,’’ he asserted.
