The Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Henry Asante Twum has disclosed that the father of Chris Hughton has passed away.
According to him, the unveiling of Chris Hughton as the new head coach of the senior national team has delayed because he had to be in the UK for a while because of the death of his father.
He furthered that Chris is expected to be in Ghana by next week all things being equal for him to be unveiled alongside his assistants.
Speaking in an interview on 3Sports monitored by 1Family Radio, Mr. Twum indicated that the GFA is planning on his unveiling and media engagement. Mr. Twum added that the GFA will communicate the date and venue for his unveiling as soon as he arrives in Ghana.
Henry mentioned that during his unveiling, the squad for the game against Angola will be announced and details of their contract with Chris will also be revealed.
